Built in first part for housing religious who wanted to learn English, the home Agostina Rota was opened on 25 February 1992 by the community of the Sisters of Charity of Saint Mary from Montreal, Canada. In the early days of its opening, many religious have succeeded to attend "The Boston School of Modern Languages."

 

To meet the demands of people in the neighborhood who asked to take care of their young children, the superior of the house organized a family daycare.

 

In 2000, expansion work was brought in the home. The new premises are now very functional for children and the sisters are satisfied. In addition, in order to provide young people with the necessary exercises to their physical growth and provide some security, the outdoor courtyard was constructed.
